Introduction of Co-fired Vertical Lime Kiln

 

The environment-friendly co-fired vertical lime kiln is a single-tube vertical kiln. The kiln has the advantages of simple structure, simple equipment, convenient construction, large operating flexibility, small footprint, and low cost. The products are suitable for metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries. Feeding, batching, air supply, and ash unloading are all completed through computer automation control to achieve the purpose of improving lime quality and saving energy, thereby calcining high-quality active lime.

 

Technical Characteristics

 

The production scale is the 80-350t/d circular kiln. The operational flexibility of the kiln is large, and it can be adjusted from 60-100% to achieve stable production.

Limestone particle size: 40~80, 80~140mm, the particle size range ratio is 1:2.

Fuel: Use coke, anthracite, and other solid fuels.

4. The heat consumption is low, and the heat energy utilization is reasonable. The secondary high-temperature air after cooling the lime and preheating directly participates in the combustion, so that the calorific value can be fully utilized, and the energy consumption can reach 140 kg standard coal/ton of lime.

5. The micro-negative pressure operation (kiln item) is adopted to make the airflow in the kiln evenly distributed, which is beneficial to the calcination of lime.

6. A correction system to prevent partial burning is designed. In addition to the normal supply of combustion-supporting air from the bottom of the kiln, several auxiliary combustion-supporting air ducts are evenly distributed around the kiln calcining zone. In the calcined zone, the supply of accelerated oxygen makes the calcined zone reach equilibrium and stability and effectively overcomes the partial burning phenomenon.

 

Structural Features

 

 

The kiln body is circular, the outermost layer of the kiln body is a steel structure kiln shell, and the inner layer is built with insulation materials.Thermocouples are installed at different heights on the kiln body to measure the temperature of different areas in the kiln for timely adjustment. A kiln bottom device is installed at the bottom of the kiln. The kiln bottom device includes a patented technology "computer probability simulation hood" for air supply to ensure that the combustion-supporting air is fed evenly across the entire kiln section. In addition, an ash unloading mechanism is installed to ensure that the finished lime in the kiln Unload evenly.

The operation of the kiln is equipped with a PLC control operating system. The new environment-friendly mixed firing shaft kiln system adopts advanced frequency conversion technology, and the control adopts the combination of upper computer and PLC control operating system. Realize full automation from feeding, mixing, lazy burning, and ash discharge, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers and improves the calcining quality of lime.

 

Quicklime Processing Steps by Co-fried Shaft Kiln

 

 

1. Mix the solid fuel with the qualified stone evenly, and distribute it into the kiln through the feeding system through the rotary distributor on the top of the kiln, so that the stone is evenly arranged in the kiln. Under the action of its own gravity, it passes through the preheating zone, calcination zone, and cooling zone in sequence, and finally burns into qualified finished lime.

2. In the storage belt, the mixture is fully preheated by the high-temperature waste brought by lazy burning.

3. In the calcination zone, the preheated mixture slowly moves down into the calcination zone under the action of its own gravity, and the secondary air combustion of anthracite and lime from the bottom of the kiln generates heat to complete the sintering of lime. An auxiliary combustion-supporting air duct is added here to ensure that the temperature of each point is very uniform, which also ensures the uniform temperature of the kiln body.

4. In the cooling zone, the cooling air source is supplied by the Roots blower and a "computer probabilistic simulation hood" is installed to ensure uniform and stable air volume and pressure.

5. The ash discharge system adopts the screw cone type ash discharge machine and the two-stage sealed valve ash discharge machine, which has good air-locking performance.

6. The exhaust gas in the kiln goes upward through the exhaust gas discharge pipe secured at the top of the kiln, enters the cyclone dust collector, and then enters the composite water film desulfurization dust collector after dust removal. After desulfurization and dust removal, the exhaust gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney through the induced draft fan.
